Tin Roof Tacos to open new restaurant in Meridian
MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) — Fans of Tin Roof Tacos can start to get excited.
And, if you're a fan and live in Meridian, you can start to get really excited.
The locally-owned restaurant announced on Wednesday that it will open a second restaurant in Meridian in the spring of 2018.
“Our inspiration for Tin Roof Tacos was to re-create the neighborhood taco stand that we knew and loved in Texas,” said Susan Loyd, owner. “We are so excited to bring that vision to life in Meridian, in a great location that will make us easily accessible to nearby businesses, schools and folks in the surrounding residential neighborhoods.”
Loyd, along with her sister Sandy Broun, opened Tin Roof Tacos at 115 S. Broadway in Boise in January 2016. Customers line up for made-from-scratch items ranging from breakfast tacos to homemade fried fruit dessert tacos. In October 2016, The Daily Meal website named Tin Roof the best taco in Idaho.
The restaurant will be located at the new Northpoint Retail Plaza shopping center at 1750 W. McMillan Road.
